Affinity to Attio in two weeks
Two weeks after access to Affinity and Attio. Above 50,000 companies and 50,000 people, the same job runs over two months of API quota.
Most fund migrations get scoped as a quarter. The Affinity move we run is two weeks after we have access to both systems. That covers the model, the dry-run, and cutover.
Add one or two weeks only if the team needs a UI validation pass and small revisions. If the workspace is usable on day one, that extra time stays unused.
Large tenants span two quota months
Above 50,000 companies and 50,000 people, the same two-week job runs over two months of API quota. Affinity allows 100,000 calls a month, so we start in the last week of one month and the first week of the next. Last week of September and first week of October is the pattern. The work finishes the same way. The calendar stretch is the quota. The work is still the two weeks.
Three rules that keep the two weeks
- Merge into the people Attio already has. Email sync creates contacts before the migration starts. A blank import duplicates the firm.
- List entries are the unit you move. Relationship scores and intro paths stay in Affinity. Design the Attio workspace around the fields that actually export.
- Every deal needs a seated owner. Records without one stall at cutover.
The full path
What stays behind, the week-by-week playbook, and the Affinity versus Attio comparison are on the Affinity to Attio page. If you want the two weeks scoped against your list sizes, book a call and we will tell you whether it starts now or across two quota months.
