Attio implementation, done right
Last updated June 2026 · Nacho Lafuente, Attio Certified Partner
Most Attio implementations fail quietly. The workspace gets built, the team gets access, and six months later half the records are wrong, automations are broken, and the CRM is back to being something the ops person maintains out of obligation.
The problem is usually the data model, decided too fast, before anyone mapped how the business actually operates. We fix that by designing before we build. The result is a workspace your team uses, not one they tolerate.
We are an official Attio Certified Partner, listed in the Attio Expert Directory. We have built workspaces for VC funds, PE deal teams, UHNW networks, and B2B SaaS companies. Here is what that looks like.
What we build
Four types of engagements. Most clients combine two or three of them.
Attio Implementation
Full workspace build from scratch. Data model design, custom objects, automations, views, and team training. Most teams are productive within 2 weeks of kickoff.
- —Data model and object design
- —Custom attributes and relationships
- —Automations and workflow logic
- —Reports and dashboards
- —Team training and documentation
CRM Migration to Attio
Move your full data history from HubSpot, Affinity, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or Notion without data loss. We redesign the data model during migration, not after.
- —Contacts, companies, deals, and activities
- —Custom field mapping and type coercion
- —Notes and interaction history
- —Deduplication before import
- —Validation before production cutover
Attio Integrations
Wire Attio into the tools your team already uses. We build reliable pipelines, not fragile Zapier chains.
- —Clay, n8n, HeyReach, Lemlist
- —Calendly, Cal.com meeting sync
- —Stripe, PandaDoc, Linear
- —Custom webhook pipelines
- —Bidirectional data flows
VC and PE Workspace Design
Deal flow, LP tracking, fund modeling, intermediary networks, and portfolio company management, built as first-class Attio objects, not hacked onto a sales pipeline.
- —Fund and LP custom objects
- —Deal sourcing attribution
- —Co-investor network tracking
- —Portfolio company monitoring
- —Affinity-to-Attio migration
How an engagement works
Discovery call
30 minutes. We look at your current setup, understand your team's actual workflow, and identify what a good Attio workspace needs to model. No pitch, honest scoping.
Data model design
Before writing a line of migration code or clicking anything in Attio, we map your objects, relationships, and attributes on paper. This is the work that determines whether your CRM is still clean in two years.
Build and migrate
We build the workspace and run the migration. Dry-run first, production when you sign off. You get visibility at every step, no black box.
Handover
Full documentation, recorded walkthroughs, and team training. You own everything. No retainer, no lock-in. Call us if something comes up.
Who we work with
VC and PE firms
Investment firms have CRM requirements that generic setups do not cover: fund structures, LP tracking across multiple vehicles, deal sourcing attribution, co-investor networks, intermediary relationships. We model these as first-class Attio objects. We also run the Affinity-to-Attio migration regularly for funds moving off the incumbent. See the VC implementation guide →
B2B SaaS and growth-stage teams
Teams that have outgrown HubSpot or Pipedrive but do not want Salesforce complexity. We migrate the full data history, redesign the data model to match how the team actually sells, and wire in the outbound and enrichment stack (Clay, n8n, Lemlist, HeyReach).
Teams starting fresh on Attio
New Attio workspaces done right from day one. We design the data model before building, the decisions made in the first week determine whether you are rebuilding in 18 months. A few days of expert design work is the cheapest insurance against that.
Selected outcomes
All case studies →Auster Capital
Full fund CRM in Attio (deal flow, LP tracking, and co-investor network) built in 3 weeks for an emerging VC.
UHNW Network

FAQ
An Attio consultant designs and builds your Attio workspace from scratch or improves an existing one. That includes data modeling (deciding what objects, attributes, and relationships to create), migrating data from your previous CRM, wiring in integrations with the tools your team already uses, building automations, and training your team. The goal is a CRM your team actually uses, built around how your business operates, not how a generic template says it should.
For simple setups (a small team tracking contacts and deals), Attio is genuinely self-serve. Where consultants earn their fee is in complexity: migrating historical data without losing context, modeling non-standard business relationships (funds, LPs, intermediaries, custom deal structures), building integrations with Clay, n8n, or outbound tools, and designing an architecture that does not need a rebuild in 18 months. If your CRM needs to model something beyond a basic sales pipeline, a day of expert design work usually saves weeks of iteration.
A standard implementation (data model design, workspace build, one integration, and team training) typically runs €4k-€8k. Migration projects (moving data from HubSpot, Affinity, Salesforce, or Pipedrive) add €3k-€12k depending on volume and complexity. The first call is free and we scope everything honestly before any commitment.
A standard implementation is 2-3 weeks: one week for discovery and data model design, one week for building and connecting integrations, a few days for team training and refinement. Migration projects add 1-2 weeks depending on the source CRM and data volume. Most teams are productive in Attio within 2 weeks of kickoff.
Attio certifies a small number of implementation partners who meet their standards for workspace design, data modeling, and client outcomes. Certified Partners are listed in the official Attio Expert Directory at attio.com/experts. We are one of them. The certification means Attio has vetted our work, not just that we have used the product.
We migrate from HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Affinity, Notion, Airtable, and custom spreadsheet setups. Each has its own migration complexity: HubSpot and Affinity have the most data model friction (they are opinionated systems that do not map 1:1 to Attio). Pipedrive and Notion migrate more cleanly. We have a dedicated migration playbook for each.
Yes, it is our primary vertical. We have built Attio workspaces for emerging managers, established VC funds, and PE deal teams. The CRM requirements for investment firms are fundamentally different from sales teams: fund structures, LP tracking, co-investor networks, deal sourcing attribution, and intermediary relationships all need to be first-class objects in your system. We know how to model these, and we know the Affinity-to-Attio migration path specifically.
